Copying an existing transaction
This section explains how to copy an existing transaction. The Copy Transaction feature allows users to use the information from an existing transaction as a baseline for a new transaction.
- From either the recent transactions section or search results, hover over the desired transaction and click the Copy Transaction button.
- A specific list of documents appear, with the document selected from the existing transaction. Select the checkbox next to the desired document(s), or click SELECT ALL to select all documents. Click NEXT.Note: Users can only select additional documents; documents cannot be removed.
- From the Lender Info section, the Check this box if the original Lender of the mortgage is also the Servicer of the mortgage checkbox appears. Click this checkbox to indicate that the same organization that originated the loan is still servicing the loan. This selection determines what information is gathered and used on the documents for Lender Information and Servicer Information. Note: Selecting this checkbox is not required to continue with the transaction.
- From the Loan Information section, enter the LOAN NUMBER. This identifier is required and is the associated loan number or account identifier used for the transaction.
- In the Borrower Mailing Address section, complete the required fields. If this address data is used within a document in the selected document package, the following actions occur:
- This data populates within the document so that the user does not have to enter this information again
- This data populates the recipient address information for the mailing
